Job summary

Lactalis Australia in Harvey, WA is seeking a Process Operator Mixer to support our dairy production lines. You will prepare and blend dairy ingredients to meet specifications, while focusing on quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will monitor mixing processes, complete documentation, and participate in cleaning and sanitation tasks. Previous experience helps but is not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing, ingredient batching, mixing or process operations.
• Strong commitment to quality, food safety and workplace safety.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and specs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced production environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and accurately mix ingredients in accordance with production schedules and product specifications
• Monitor mixing processes to ensure product quality, consistency and compliance with standards
• Complete production, quality and safety documentation accurately
• Conduct pre-operational checks and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use
• Maintain high hygiene standards and perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required
• Minimise product loss and report equipment issues, quality concerns or safety hazards promptly

About this Opportunity

We are seeking a Process Operator Mixer to join the team in Harvey.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for preparing and blending dairy ingredients to ensure products are manufactured to specification and ready for production. You will have a strong focus on quality and safety and be able to work as part of an effective team. You will have a proactive and positive attitude with the ability to deliver high-quality work.

Previous experience in food manufacturing, ingredient preparation, batching or process operations is highly regarded, but not essential.

Key responsibilities of the role are:

• Prepare and accurately mix ingredients in accordance with production schedules and product specifications
• Monitor mixing processes to ensure product quality, consistency and compliance with standards
