The CIBC Optimization & Processing Engineering (O&PE) department is made up of cross-functional teams, each with distinct mandates and core capabilities. These teams include Process Engineering (PE), Intelligent Automation (IA), and End-to-End Optimization (E2E), all of which are seeking co-op students to support ongoing efforts to enhance the delivery of products and services to our clients. As a member of one of these teams, you will collaborate in a team setting and focus on activities such as data collection, research, and analysis to assist in the design, testing, and implementation of organizational and process improvements.
Note: All applicants will be considered for all three teams. Candidates are encouraged to state their team preferences within their application and/or interview; however, allocation will ultimately be made based on business needs.
