Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process improvements, monitor process capability, and conduct product performance assessments using statistical analysis and process optimization tools and methodologies.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis activities to resolve technical, quality, or safety issues.
  • Enhance manufacturing capacity and reduce costs.
  • Develop and execute production trials to address challenges and improve finished product characteristics.
  • Collaborate with operators and process technicians to develop, improve, and monitor key processes and procedures.
  • Assist in writing standard work documents, job aids, and operator training programs.
  • Work cross-functionally to assist with planning, installation, startup, and performance validation of new equipment, as well as maintain existing equipment.
  • Lead capital and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering: Industrial, Pulp and Paper, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical.
  • More than 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes including Lean Six Sigma.
