Job summary

Allnorth in Calgary is seeking a Process or Mechanical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to support industrial projects across energy, renewables, fiber and chemicals, and infrastructure sectors.

You will assist with engineering studies, detailed design, and calculations while collaborating with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver project results.

Opportunity to participate in field reviews, client meetings, and problem-solving activities while developing core engineering skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering required.
• Registered as EIT with APEGA or eligible for registration.
• 0–3 years of relevant co-op or internship experience.
• Strong communication skills (interpersonal and written) and ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Interest in industrial mechanical/process engineering and consulting environments.

Ideal Candidate

Allnorth’s Calgary team is looking for a Process or Mechanical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to support industrial projects across the energy, renewables, fiber and chemicals, and infrastructure sectors.

As the successful candidate, you will assist with engineering studies and detailed design projects while working alongside senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams. You will support engineering calculations, technical documentation, equipment and piping design, and project coordination while gaining exposure to a variety of industrial projects.

A Day in the Life

• Support process and mechanical engineering design activities for industrial projects
