Job summary

Paladin Energy Canada seeks a Process Engineer to advance the Patterson Lake South project in Saskatoon from detailed design through construction, commissioning, startup, and operations. You will influence safety, performance, reliability and operability of the processing plant.

Collaborating with project leaders, metallurgists, and operations teams, you will gain hands-on experience across all project phases, expanding uranium processing expertise and contributing to a major Saskatchewan

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing, or related.
• 5–10 years of process engineering experience in uranium processing or similar environment.
• Experience with process modelling software such as METSIM, HSC Chemistry, Aspen Plus, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, and delivery of the processing facility across project phases.
• Prepare PFDs, P&IDs, mass balances, process control philosophies, and equipment specs.
• Support evaluation and optimization of process designs through test work, modelling, and studies.
• Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and operations personnel to deliver safe, efficient processing solutions.
• Develop commissioning plans, operating procedures, training materials, and startup activities.
