Your Work Environment:


As a Process Engineer, you will be at the heart of manufacturing process optimization in a brand-new Nitrile Latex Glove production facility. Your mission will be to develop, implement, and enhance production processes to improve efficiency, ensure product quality, and support a culture of continuous improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, introduce Lean Manufacturing methodologies, and drive operational excellence.

Your Daily Responsibilities:


  • Lead the setup and commissioning of the new Nitrile Latex Glove manufacturing facility.
  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Analyze production and quality KPI data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement process control strategies to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in process improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production processes, minimizing downtime.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Train and mentor production staff on process improvements and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and DMAIC methodologies.

Your Must-Haves:


  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing techniques (5S, Kaizen, VSM), SCADA, MES, CAD, and process control strategies.
  • Strong command of technical English and ability to use office automation tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate performance indicators and business challenges.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and facilitating problem-solving initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact across multiple levels of the organization.

An Asset to Have:


  • P.Eng certification.
  • Experience in greenfield, startup, or major expansion projects.
  • Knowledge of chemical processes and safety regulations.
