Job Summary:
As a Process Analyst, you will support Governance and Control functions within a leading Canadian bank. The role involves internal control testing, risk assessments, and direct collaboration with stakeholders across various departments. This opportunity provides long-term contract stability and strong exposure to the world of governance, audit, and wholesale operations.Key Responsibilities:- Ensure internal control testing is effectively and efficiently conducted according to 2nd line function requirements.
- Lead and assist in designing testing programs to identify process/control gaps.
- Execute ongoing testing of key controls and ensure proper documentation and resolution of exceptions.
- Support business stakeholders with control remediation and documentation improvements.
- Identify opportunities to enhance control testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including traders and front-office staff.
- Participate in risk-focused initiatives and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the team.
Required Experience:- 5-7 years of experience in risk, audit, compliance, or related disciplines.
- University degree (Bachelor’s required).
- High level of stakeholder interaction experience.
- Experience in wholesale operations or derivative operations environments.
Nice-to-Have Experience:- Familiarity with trading desks and front-office teams.
- Prior experience within a governance or control function in financial services.
