Peace Wapiti Public School Division is seeking a dedicated Probationary Full-Time Teacher for High School Math and Science. Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) provides service to approximately 6,100 students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 in 34 schools and is one of the largest employers in the Grande Prairie/Spirit River region.
Peace Wapiti Enterprise Centre is seeking candidates with high professional standards, who are willing to personalize learning to meet the needs of our students. We invite applications for a Probationary Full-Time Teacher (High School Math and Science). Peace Wapiti Enterprise Centre offers a safe and welcoming alternative for PWPSD students in grades 8-12 who may face challenges or obstacles in traditional classroom settings.
The successful candidate will be committed to exploring innovative ways to develop and deliver course content while engaging and motivating students in an online environment. Excellent technology skills and a willingness to be accessible through multiple modes of communication are required.
A current Criminal Record Check (including Vulnerable Sector Check), dated within the last six months, is a condition of employment.
