We are seeking a probationary full-time senior high science teacher for a teaching assignment that could include Science 10, Math 10, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Position to commence for the 2025/2026 school year.

We are seeking a teacher who has:

• Appropriate educational training and experience teaching the Alberta Sr. High Science curricula.
• A strong understanding of outcomes based assessment practices;
• Willingness to work collaboratively as a member of an instructional team;
• A commitment to building relationships with students to create a safe, caring and welcoming learning environment;
• A strong belief in parent involvement and communication including regular communication with home beyond the use of report cards;
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills;
• In depth knowledge of and experience with current outcomes based assessment practices and ability to develop multiple assessments such as portfolios and projects, in addition to more traditional assessments;
• An ability to ensure success for students with diverse academic, behavioural, emotional and/or curricular needs within the classroom setting;
• Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility for same;

Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
