Probabilistic Safety Analysis (PSA) Engineer

The department of Probabilistic Safety Analysis at AtkinsRéalis (Candu Energy) is engaged in probabilistic safety analysis (PSA) in support of existing and new CANDU Nuclear Power Plants both domestic and international.
AtkinsRéalis is looking to hire a Probabilistic Safety Analysis Engineer. The incumbent will work other junior and senior staff to develop and apply advanced analysis methodologies to perform PSAs and other PSA related safety analyses for existing, refurbishment and new build. These include issues related to hazard identification, Level 1 PSA, Level 2 PSA, Level 3 PSA, seismic, flood and or fire safety assessments, failure mode and effect analyses, internal and external events. The incumbent are also expected to be able to develop training material in PSA and review PSA documents, have strong analytical and technical skills in PSA, and be ready to take on various technical tasks within a short period of time.
