Join our team as a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant in the inpatient setting, where you’ll work alongside a Physical Therapist in administering patient treatments while educating patients, family members, and caregivers on how to best assist with daily routines. You will have the chance to work with a broader team to maximize patient outcomes using evidence-based care.

Our clinic is located within a 30-bed hospital that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for both general rehabilitation and stroke specialty, ensuring top-tier care for our patients.

Our clinic boasts an exceptional team of seasoned clinicians and new graduates, fostering a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere. We are passionate about teaching and mentoring, helping our newer clinicians grow professionally while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

The rehabilitation caseload at our clinic is diverse, with approximately 50% focused on neurological rehabilitation. The remaining caseload includes a mix of polytraumas, cardiac rehabilitation, amputations, and other complex cases, allowing us to offer specialized care to a wide variety of patients.

Your Responsibilities as a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Inpatient Rehab

  • Administer and assist with a wide range of physical therapy treatments using a variety of methods.
  • Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have the ability to exceed their functional goals.
  • Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, fellow clinicians, and other team members.
  • Build and maintain relationships throughout the community.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE approved physical therapist assistant program.
  • State Licensure.
  • Basic Life Support Certification via the American Heart Association.

Salary: $35/Hr. Weekdays and $40/Hr. Weekends.
