What Youll be Doing
The Private Wealth Senior Learning Strategy Manager is responsible for managing the initiation, execution, and facilitation of Private Wealth Advisory Programs and providing coaching support to program participants. The focus is to work with Private Banking, Wood Gundy, CIBC Private Investment Counsel, the Wealth Planning group, and the Insurance Trust and Estate Planning teams to help onboard new team members, get them job-ready, and enhance the skill sets of Advisors, Associates, Assistants, and other roles to improve effectiveness and efficiency. The role also involves leading and supporting the implementation of new training initiatives aligned with business needs and supporting conferences and training requests, often in partnership with Practice Management.

How Youll Succeed
Provide leadership aligned with business priorities—ensuring requirements are understood and implemented. Support a national onboarding training program to aid talent acquisition across Canada, and develop training programs for Private Wealth teams, including Wealth Advisors, Associates, Assistants, and other roles. Your responsibilities include timely implementation, delivery, evaluation, and ongoing enhancement of Advisory Programs, adapting to evolving business needs and regulations.
Facilitate Advisory Programs and provide personalized learning support—supporting learners and their leaders in both English and French (preferred). You will conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, proactively identify opportunities for program improvements, and stay current on CIRO regulations, industry changes, and other educational requirements.
Lead or participate in strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects related to Advisory Programs. Collaborate with Practice Management and other teams to innovate content delivery methods, prioritize effectively, and manage complex projects involving internal and external partners and vendors.
Business Acumen—operate independently to identify priorities, address policy and program requirements, and foster strong relationships. Maintain current knowledge of industry segments and the complexities of the business, with willingness to travel within Canada.
Who You Are
You are a certified professional with an undergraduate degree in business or economics; an MBA is an asset. You hold CFP, CIM, CFA, or equivalent credentials, and have 8-10 years of experience in Private Banking and Wealth Management, understanding key business issues and processes.
