Job summary

CIBC in Halifax is seeking a proactive Associate for its Private Wealth Rotational Program. You will develop the skills to manage client portfolios, provide comprehensive financial advice, and engage with new and existing clients to build lasting relationships.

The twelve-month rotation moves through Private Wealth, including Private Banking and Wood Gundy, with a structured licensing path and ongoing learning support.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate (May 2026–May 2027) or in final year pursuing Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field with expected Spring 2027 graduation.
• Successful completion of the CIRO licensing is required within six months of start date.
• Interest in pursuing a career in financial services and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build skills to manage and grow client portfolios with dedicated relationship management and comprehensive financial advice.
• Participate in a twelve-month Private Wealth Rotational Program across Private Banking and Wood Gundy.
• Support learning journey with dedicated Private Wealth leaders and specialists and pursue required licensing.
