Job summary

Superprof is seeking a kind, nurturing nanny for our curious and energetic almost-2-year-old son. This part-time role offers 3–8 hours per day, 4–5 days a week, with a negotiable hourly rate of CA$20.

We’re looking for someone with toddler experience who can provide engaging, screen-free activities, support language development (English exposure), and help with light housework while keeping routines, safety and joy at the center of daily care.

Qualifications

• Significant toddler care experience.
• Ability to support language development and introduce English naturally.
• Provide age-appropriate, screen-free activities.
• Warm, patient, energetic and reliable.
• Organized and proactive in daily routines.

Responsibilities

• Outdoor walks, nature exploration and library visits.
• Arts, crafts, sensory play, music and imaginative activities.
• Healthy toddler meals/snacks and diaper changes; potty training support.
• Nap time and daily routine management.
• Light household tasks: laundry, dishes, vacuum/mop, tidy play areas.

• Almost 2 years old
• Curious, active and playful
• Loves songs, dancing and books
• Enjoys pretend play with tools, kitchen play, cars & trucks
• Loves arts & crafts, Play-Doh, sensory activities and water play
• Loves being outdoors and exploring nature
• Currently speaks Urdu; we’d love someone who can help build his English naturally through play, conversation, songs and books

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has significant toddler experience
• Understands toddler emotions and positive, respectful ways to support them
• Can provide age-appropriate, engaging screen-free activities
• Is warm, patient, nurturing and energetic
• Is organized, proactive and reliable
• Ideally has an Early Childhood Education/Child Development background

Typical activities & care:

• Outdoor walks, stroller time and nature exploration
• Library, EarlyON and park visits when weather permits
• Arts, crafts, sensory and water play
• Music, dancing, reading and imaginative play
• Healthy toddler meal/snack preparation
• Diaper changes and support with potty training
• Nap and daily routine
• Supporting language, social, emotional and physical development

Light household help:

• Laundry
• Washing dishes and loading/unloading dishwasher
• Vacuuming and/or mopping
• Tidying play areas and general organization
• Helping keep the home running smoothly

Schedule:

• Returning to work, so hours will vary somewhat with my work schedule
• 4–5 days/week
• Approximately 3–8 hours/day
• Schedule may vary depending on whether I’m working from home or remotely
• Rate negotiable – our priority is finding the right fit
• Ideally looking for someone who can stay with us through at least May/June
