Job summary

AFIMAC is seeking licensed Private Investigators for Injunction Investigative work across Ontario. You will be deployed to projects including labour disruptions, organized protests, and crisis scenarios, with travel within the province.

This role requires a valid Ontario PI license, willingness to travel, long shifts, and strong reporting skills. AFIMAC offers varied assignments, competitive compensation, and accommodations when lodging is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Ontario Private Investigator license.
• Willing to travel on short notice within Ontario for extended periods (min 4 weeks).
• Available for 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to sit, walk, stand, and drive for extended periods.
• Fluent in English (read, write, speak).
• Canadian resident legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Experience handling confrontational situations and de-escalation.
• Experience with court injunction processes and reporting.

Job description

AFIMAC is seeking licensed Private Investigators for Injunction Investigative work related to immediate and upcoming projects throughout the province of Ontario.

You will earn:

• $20.00 per hour before overtime.
• Hotel accommodations provided when required.
• $30 per diem when lodging required
• Contract length 1-120 days

AFIMAC Investigators are deployed to various types of assignments including:

• Labour Disruptions
• Organized protests
• Man made crisis/disasters (crime scenes, structural fires, etc.)

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible to work for AFIMAC you must meet the following criteria:

• Possess a valid Private Investigator license in the province of Ontario.
• Flexibility and a willingness to travel on short notice within your home province to projects for extended periods of time (minimum 4 week commitment)
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Able to sit, walk, stand, and or drive for extended periods of time
• Able to read, write, and speak English
• Be a Canadian resident and legally entitled to work in Canada
• Previous experience dealing with confrontational situations and having the ability to de-escalate with little to no supervision
• Experience with the court injunction process
• Excellent report writing skills
