Job summary

AFIMAC is seeking licensed Private Investigators for Injunction Investigative work across Ontario. Earn $20.00 per hour before overtime, with hotel accommodations and $30 per diem when lodging is required.

Contract length ranges from 1 to 120 days, with opportunities to work on Labour Disruptions, organized protests, and crisis response projects. Applicants must hold an Ontario PI license, be eligible to work in Canada, and willing to travel on short notice for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Ontario Private Investigator license.
• Willing to travel on short notice within Ontario for extended periods (min 4 weeks).
• Able to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Canadian resident eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Conduct injunction investigations across Ontario on various projects.
• Prepare accurate, detailed investigative reports.
• Travel to sites and de-escalate confrontational situations as needed.
• Coordinate with clients and adhere to project timelines.

Job description

AFIMAC is seeking licensed Private Investigators for Injunction Investigative work related to immediate and upcoming projects throughout the province of Ontario.

You will earn:

• $20.00 per hour before overtime.
• Hotel accommodations provided when required.
• $30 per diem when lodging required
• Contract length 1-120 days

AFIMAC Investigators are deployed to various types of assignments including:

• Labour Disruptions
• Organized protests
• Man made crisis/disasters (crime scenes, structural fires, etc.)

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible to work for AFIMAC you must meet the following criteria:

• Possess a valid Private Investigator license in the province of Ontario.
• Flexibility and a willingness to travel on short notice within your home province to projects for extended periods of time (minimum 4 week commitment)
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Able to sit, walk, stand, and or drive for extended periods of time
• Able to read, write, and speak English
• Be a Canadian resident and legally entitled to work in Canada
• Previous experience dealing with confrontational situations and having the ability to de-escalate with little to no supervision
• Experience with the court injunction process
• Excellent report writing skills
