Job summary

AFIMAC is seeking licensed Private Investigators for Injunction Investigative work across Ontario. You will be deployed on immediate and upcoming projects with a contract length of 1–120 days, earning $20.00 per hour before overtime.

Hotel accommodations are provided when required, and a $30 per diem applies when lodging is needed. Required qualifications include a valid Ontario PI license, willingness to travel on short notice, ability to work 12-hour shifts (including weekends/holidays), and

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Ontario Private Investigator license.
• Willing to travel on short notice within Ontario for extended projects (minimum 4 weeks).
• Able to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to sit, walk, stand, or drive for extended periods.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Canadian resident legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Experience with confrontational situations and de-escalation with minimal supervision.
• Experience with the court injunction process.
• Excellent report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct injunction-related investigations across Ontario.
• Respond to labour disruptions and organized protests as required.
• Investigate man-made crises and disasters when assigned.
• Prepare thorough, accurate written investigative reports.

• Organized protests
• Man made crisis/disasters (crime scenes, structural fires, etc.)

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible to work for AFIMAC you must meet the following criteria:

• Possess a valid Private Investigator license in the province of Ontario.
• Flexibility and a willingness to travel on short notice within your home province to projects for extended periods of time (minimum 4 week commitment)
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Able to sit, walk, stand, and or drive for extended periods of time
• Able to read, write, and speak English
• Be a Canadian resident and legally entitled to work in Canada
• Previous experience dealing with confrontational situations and having the ability to de-escalate with little to no supervision
• Experience with the court injunction process
• Excellent report writing skills
