Job summary

Blackhawk Golf Club in southwest Edmonton along the North Saskatchewan River is seeking an Associate Golf Professional for the 2027 season and beyond, offering a growth path within a private club with ambitious expansion plans.

The role involves serving members, managing the golf shop, coordinating events and leagues, and contributing to all areas of golf operations. Compensation includes a CAD 4,500+ monthly base plus 90% of teaching revenue, with benefits and dues covered.

Qualifications

  • PGA of Canada or LPGA Class A Professional status is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A professional and personable approach to member service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Daily member and guest service.
  • Golf shop operations, merchandising and retail sales.
  • Tee sheet administration and daily golf scheduling.
  • Member leagues and programming.
  • Tournament planning and execution.
  • Staff supervision, coordination and development.
  • Golf events and Club activities.
  • Golf Academy programming and instruction.
  • Building strong, lasting relationships with members and guests.
  • Supporting the ongoing development and success of the overall golf operation.
