Job summary

National Bank of Canada’s Private Banking 1859 unit in Vancouver seeks a professional to support Private Bankers with administrative and client service tasks while developing personalized relationships to meet each client’s financial needs.

You will help optimize interventions, open accounts, and ensure timely delivery of loans and investments. A three-year college diploma and knowledge of banking products are required; English is essential, French is a plus. Hybrid work model on Alberni Street.

Qualifications

• Completed three-year college diploma or academic equivalent.
• Knowledge of banking, investment, and financial products.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Dynamic interpersonal skills with a can-do attitude to exercise initiative and handle several tasks and changing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and can connect with customers and teams in a courteous, effective manner.
• French language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support Private Bankers by providing administrative and customer service tasks.
• Develop personalized relationships to meet each client’s needs.
• Identify sales opportunities and optimize customer interventions.
• Open commercial and personal accounts and perform transactions for clients.
• Monitor client files to improve administrative and financial efficiency.
• Suggest process improvements and contribute to operational efficiency.
• Identify risks inherent to Wealth Management activities.
• Provide clients with suitable products or services.
• Prepare and verify financial information and tax structures for financing requests.
