This position is based in Islington, ON, within the Islington Printing division, and involves supporting the press department with various roles on a shift basis, including replacing personnel and supporting production to meet requirements.

Responsibilities include :

  • Press assistant
  • Roll Technician
  • Gammerler Operator
  • Press Tech II

Qualifications :

  • Experience with roles in the press department, including roll preparation, reel stands, Gammerler stackers, and color setting on a double-wide press.
  • Strong mechanical skills, safety awareness, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and equipment.
  • Good communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Additional requirements :

  • Ability to work in a 24 / 7 environment with shifts.
  • Valid Tow Motor / Clamp Truck and Walkie Rider licenses.
  • Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and teamwork.
