Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Printer & Copier Technician to join our growing team. This role focuses on servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting commercial printer and copier equipment for clients across the Lower Mainland. The ideal candidate will be technically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair laser printers, copiers, and multifunction devices (MFDs)
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
  • Replace worn or defective parts including fusers, rollers, and imaging components
  • Complete service reports and document work performed using service management software
  • Assist with remote technical support and troubleshooting when needed
  • Maintain familiarity with common OEM brands (HP, Brother, Kyocera, Xerox, etc.)

Customer Support :

  • Provide friendly, professional onsite support to clients
  • Educate users on device functionality and preventative maintenance best practices
  • Communicate job status clearly to both customers and internal team

Shop Duties (as needed) :

  • Refurbish and clean devices prior to deployment
  • Assist in cartridge testing or configuration for outgoing machines
  • Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse

Backup Delivery Driver :

  • Step in to support product deliveries when needed
  • Ensure timely and professional delivery of equipment and supplies
  • Maintain a clean driving record and valid Class 5 license

Requirements

  • Previous experience in IT, print repair, or copier service is a strong asset (1+ year preferred)
  • Preferred familiarity with laser printing technology and MFD repair
  • Ability to diagnose both hardware and software issues in printers / copiers
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of customer environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to work full-time hours (start time 8 : 30 am)

Schedule :

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8-hour shifts
