Job Title: Print Operator

Location: Etobicoke
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Salary Range: $62,000 – $68,000

Overview: Print Operator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Print Operator to oversee the daily operation of print jobs from file preparation through final output. This role is responsible for managing the print queue and RIP system, ensuring every job meets our quality standards for color, precision, and consistency. The ideal candidate will work closely with the prepress team, maintain equipment, and support a clean and efficient production environment.

Key Responsibilities: Print Operator

• Print File Management: Retrieve and manage print files from the queue and RIP system to ensure accurate, timely job execution.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor print runs for color accuracy, image quality, and correct output quantities, in line with the company production standards.
• Job Ticket Tracking: Record and maintain job ticket specifications and print settings to ensure repeatability and consistency across orders.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with prepress staff and production teammates to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform scheduled daily and weekly maintenance to ensure printers and related equipment remain in peak working condition.
• Shop Floor Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment to support productivity and safety standards.
