Job Description

We are seeking a Principal UX Researcher to lead strategic, systems-level research at Oracle NetSuite for the Optimize Cash & Profits (OCP) value stream. This role involves influencing the evolution of a complex platform that supports businesses across various industries, focusing on financial operations such as payments, cash management, business planning, and compliance.

You will work at the intersection of user needs, business priorities, and technical capabilities, uncovering insights to shape product development and strategy. The role requires the ability to see the big picture, connect dots across workstreams, and navigate ambiguity effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute tactical and foundational research initiatives across the OCP landscape.
  • Map complex systems, identify opportunities, and guide product teams through informed trade-offs.
  • Define research strategies in collaboration with Research Leadership, supporting both short-term and long-term goals.
  • Synthesize findings to reveal patterns and insights that influence strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Engineering) to integrate user-centered thinking.
  • Mentor other researchers, ensuring rigor and impact in research activities.
  • Support the development of a global research practice and methodologies.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 8+ years of user research experience, preferably in the enterprise domain.
  • Experience with various research and usability testing methods.
  • Degree in Psychology, HCI, Human Factors, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • Ability to work in high-ambiguity environments and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English and willingness to travel (<5%).
  • Familiarity with research tools like Dscout, Zoom, survey platforms.
