Concepteur de systèmes principal (Principal System Designer) – Domaine biomédical

Localisation : Montréal

Au sein de l’équipe de développement de produits, vous serez responsable de la conception des produits d’aide à la chirurgie orthopédique développés par la R&D avant leur mise en marché. Pour ce faire, vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de développement logiciel, d’instrumentation et/ou d’électronique et/ou de robotique tout au long du développement des produits.

Plus Précisément, Vous

• Déterminerez l’architecture du système d’un point de vue technique et documentaire en collaboration avec les différentes équipes et sites de conception;
• Veillerez à la coordination et la communication entre les équipes de conception, de service et de production;
• Agirez en tant qu’expert et participerez comme mentor à la formation continue des membres de l’équipe;
• Établirez, en coordination avec les gestionnaires de programmes, responsables produits et équipe Scrum, des backlogs Agile et des échéanciers de travail respectant les contraintes prédéterminées;
• Analyserez les besoins auprès des clients et de l’équipe marketing et définirez les spécifications du système reliées aux volets électroniques, mécaniques (instrumentations) et logiciels;
• Procéderez à l’identification et à l’évaluation des risques reliés aux spécifications techniques;
• Participerez à la vérification et à la validation des produits, incluant la définition et la réalisation des protocoles de test pour chacune des composantes et sous-composantes du système;
• Vous participerez à l’ingénierie d'utilisabilité avec les chirurgiens;
• Procéderez à l’écriture de documents qualité se rapportant à la conception et au développement de produits et vous veillerez au respect des normes s’appliquant au développement de façon à garantir la qualité et la sécurité des produits;
• Vous participerez à l’implantation des systèmes ainsi qu’à la formation des utilisateurs;
  
  

Compétences Et Expériences Souhaitées

• Vous possédez un diplôme d’études universitaires en génie;
• Vous possédez 10 à 15 années d’expérience sur le marché du travail, au cours desquelles vous avez acquis une solide expérience en développement de produits, idéalement de produits médicaux;
• Vous avez acquis une expérience au sein d’un domaine hautement réglementé (médical, aéronautique, transport, militaire et pharmaceutique);
• Vous possédez un sens du service à la clientèle développé et avez une facilité à interagir avec des collaborateurs tant à l’interne qu’à l’externe;
• Vous êtes reconnue pour votre capacité à prendre des décisions, gestion des priorités, des échéanciers et votre sens de la planification;
• On vous reconnaît un esprit d’analyse poussé et une capacité à œuvrer dans un environnement de fine pointe et en pleine évolution;
• Vous êtes bilingue, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.

Principal System Designer - Biomedical Field

Location: Montreal

Within the Product Development team, you will be responsible for the design of orthopedic surgery aid products developed by R&D prior to their release to market. You will work closely with the software development, instrumentation and / or electronics and / or robotics teams throughout product development.

More Specifically, You

• In collaboration with the various teams and design sites, you determine the system’s architecture from a technical point of view, ensuring documentation compliance.
• Ensure coordination and communication between design, service and production teams;
• Act as an expert and participate as a mentor in the continuing professional learning of team members;
• Establish, in coordination with the program manager, product owners and Scrum team, Agile backlogs and work schedules respecting the predetermined constraints;
• Analyze needs with customers and the marketing team and define system specifications related to electronic, mechanical (instrumentation) and software components;
• Identify and assess risks related to technical specifications;
• Participate in the verification and validation of products, including the definition and implementation of test protocols for each of the components and sub-components of the system;
• You will collaborate in usability engineering with surgeons;
• Write quality documents relating to product design and development and ensure compliance with standards applicable to development to ensure product quality and safety;
• You will participate in the implementation of systems as well as in user training;
  
  

Desired Skills And Experiences

• You have a university degree in engineering;
• You have 10 to 15 years of experience in the labor market, during which you have acquired solid experience in product development, ideally medical products;
• You have acquired experience in a highly regulated field (medical, aeronautical, transportation, military and pharmaceutical);
• You have a strong sense of customer service and have an ease in interacting with collaborators both internally and externally;
• You are recognized for your ability to make decisions, manage priorities, deadlines and your sense of planning;
• You are recognized for a strong analytical mind and an ability to work in a cutting-edge and rapidly evolving environment;
