Position Overview
Autodesk's Entertainment & Media team is looking for a Principal Software Quality Assurance Specialist to guide our QA team, drive team-level outcomes and initiatives, and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture. Reporting to our Manager of Software Quality Assurance, you will mentor and develop team members, ensuring their growth and alignment with the team's objectives.
You possess extensive experience in front-end testing and a deep understanding of web technologies, as well as a good understanding of media streaming processes, postproduction workflows, media formats, and the technical side of film production. This role involves guiding the design, development, and execution of both automated and manual tests to ensure the highest quality of our web applications, with an equal focus on both testing types. Proficiency in JavaScript and experience using Cypress are essential.

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $104,000 and $143,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
