Job description

We seek a talented and motivated individual to strategize and support opportunities to enhance Autodesk’s security posture on the Device Trust team. This role will oversee all aspects of Device Security & Trust at Autodesk.

The successful candidate will execute the strategic vision, develop device guidelines, standards, and policies, and champion trust initiatives through cross-functional collaboration. They will evolve our security practices in line with industry standards, frameworks, and regulations, ensuring trust outcomes for our customers and the company. Collaboration with leaders and engineers to improve security is essential.

The ideal candidate will have experience implementing security strategies at scale across products, enterprise IT, and hybrid cloud environments in a dynamic setting.

This position can be based in our Toronto office or remotely.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop capability roadmaps and achieve key milestones.
  • Lead projects to improve user onboarding and experience securely.
  • Design and implement sustainable solutions, processes, and device configurations to mitigate risks.
  • Conduct gap analyses and prioritize process improvements based on workflow assessments.
  • Enhance Device Management capabilities, runbooks, and documentation for sustainability.
  • Consult on security initiatives involving desktop, enterprise applications, and cloud services.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in Security Device Management and Endpoint Protection services.
  • Strong background in IT security, Enterprise Security, and Cloud Security.
  • Experience with EDR/XDR/EPP/AV solutions, including CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne, and Microsoft Defender.
  • Experience designing and implementing Zero Trust models and policies aligned with CISA ZTA Maturity Models.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of NIST, CIS, STIG standards, and regulatory frameworks like C5, Cyber Essentials, PCI, SOC2, and ISO.
  • Highly technical with capabilities in Device, Network, and Platform Security.
  • Decision-making autonomy and a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
