They are seeking a Principal Product Manager focused on Developer Experience to help scale their global ecosystem of embedded software developers. This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role driving product strategy, enablement, and community growth for one of the most trusted embedded platforms on the market.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end strategy and delivery of developer-focused tools, sample products, and enablement initiatives.
- Collaborate across engineering, developer relations, and product teams to craft intuitive, efficient experiences for the embedded developer community.
- Design roadmaps and prioritize features that enhance engagement, adoption, and satisfaction.
- Own the delivery of a self-service portal offering clean access to SDKs, drivers, and enablement kits.
- Champion the voice of the developer across internal stakeholder groups.
- Define and refine the journey from open-source / non-commercial usage to commercial deployment.
- Explore emerging tools, cloud integration options, and ecosystem partnerships to expand developer reach.
- Represent the company in conferences and developer events to promote new capabilities and gather insights.
What You Bring
- Solid experience in product management or technical product ownership roles.
- Deep understanding of embedded systems , RTOS , and hands-on experience with C / C++ development.
- Strong grasp of user experience design principles for technical audiences.
- Prior experience working on developer portals, SDKs, toolchains, or enablement platforms.
- Exceptional communication skills – able to bridge gaps between engineering, product, and end users.
- Familiarity with licensing models, cloud enablement, and open-source ecosystems.
- Experience with ARM or x86-based embedded environments .
Bonus Points For
- Hands-on knowledge of QNX, VxWorks, FreeRTOS, or similar platforms.
- Past contributions to open-source projects or developer tooling communities.
- Experience launching developer-focused content or platforms from scratch.
