Job summary

u-blox is seeking a senior GNSS expert to lead high-precision positioning initiatives and shape the technical roadmap. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Product Owners, and drive end-to-end algorithm implementations across cross-functional teams.

With 10+ years in GNSS, you will combine deep algorithmic expertise with leadership skills, mentoring colleagues while continuing to code when needed. This is a technical leadership role in a dynamic, global company.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in high-precision GNSS product development.
• Strong ability to productize in C/C++.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives without formal authority.
• Excellent communication - technical discussions with Product Owners and peers.

Responsibilities

• Act as a recognized authority on GNSS algorithms and positioning systems architecture.
• Drive next-generation initiatives in high-precision GNSS positioning, prototype, validate and develop production-grade systems.
• Co-shape the technical roadmap with Product Owners and fellow principals.
• Work in cross business unit teams to support end-to-end algorithm implementation for product success.
• Mentor engineers across the business unit, scale impact through coaching and frameworks.
• Represent us in standards bodies, consortia, or at critical customer engagements when needed.
