What you can expect to do here :

  • Prioritize health and safety in all aspects of your work.
  • Lead and support the Whitehorse team in winning work, managing projects, and executing projects at contaminated sites primarily in Yukon, and also in BC, across sectors such as mining, oil and gas, transportation, and government.
  • Leverage your fieldwork and project management experience to mentor and develop team members.
  • Manage projects from proposal to delivery, including proposal preparation, contract review, project execution, financial oversight, and client relations to meet scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to foster team growth and development.

What you'll bring to WSP :

  • A relevant undergraduate degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geoscience, or related technical discipline from an accredited university.
  • 10-15 years of experience in Environmental Consulting with a professional designation in Engineering, Geoscience, Biology, or related fields.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience providing technical advice, senior review of deliverables, and client engagement.
  • Ability to lead project teams effectively with excellent communication skills both internally and externally.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and technical writing skills.
  • A clean Driver's Abstract and willingness to travel as required.
