As an Enterprise Data Architect, you will collaborate with multiple teams across the organization to ensure that enterprise data is well architected, understood, and governed. Your role involves working with data-producing and consuming teams, bridging the gap between technical leadership, security, product engineering, business systems, and data analysts across marketing, sales, revenue, and product.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, deploying, and managing Barracuda's data architecture. This includes defining policies, procedures, and standards on data collection, storage, processing, management, and usage throughout the organization. You will work at the intersection of business, applications, data, and technology in a highly collaborative environment.

What you’ll be working on

• Data Architecture: Collaborate to develop and implement data strategy, architecture, and governance aligned with company goals.
• Data Integrations: Architect and implement processes and systems to ingest, store, and process data from sources like Salesforce, working with external vendors as needed.
• Data Management: Ensure data quality and address gaps to enhance scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
• Business Processes: Understand and influence business processes, systems, and data management practices.
• Data Use Cases: Engage with analytics teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions efficiently.
• Data Modeling: Design logical and physical data models for data lakes and warehouses.
• Coaching and Mentoring: Support team development through training and individual guidance.

What you bring to the role

• 13+ years of experience in roles such as Data Architect, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, or Data Analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of business domains, especially CRM and ERP systems like Salesforce and NetSuite, with certifications being a plus.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and pipelines, using tools like dbt, ERwin, PowerDesigner.
• Experience with Spark, Databricks, and cloud platforms like AWS is advantageous.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
