Job summary
Enercare is seeking a senior, hands-on Principal Software Engineer to shape and deliver the next generation of our enterprise technology landscape. You will bridge modern cloud-based solutions with legacy platforms while guiding technical direction across engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
You will design scalable APIs and microservices, stay hands-on with coding, and mentor engineers to strengthen Enercare's evolving engineering culture as modernization accelerates.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience at a leadership level.
- Hands-on coding and ability to guide architecture and decisions.
- Experience with APIs, microservices, cloud (Azure preferred) and DevOps/CI-CD.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and mentoring capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of scalable enterprise apps and modernization initiatives.
- Remain hands-on with coding, problem-solving and solution delivery.
- Design cloud-based distributed solutions using APIs and microservices.
- Support Azure-focused cloud modernization and DevOps practices.
- Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across teams.
