Placements24 is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to join a remote-first FinTech team. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation to support mission-critical applications.

You will champion DevOps best practices, collaborate across functions, and ensure systems are reliable, scalable, and secure. Mentorship of junior engineers is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Software Engineering with a strong focus on automation and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for remote, distributed teams.
• Experience in FinTech is a significant advantage.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions.

Requirements
