Infosys is seeking a Power BI Developer with reporting and visualization skills.

This position requires expertise in Power BI with over 10 years of experience in business intelligence, focusing on data visualization tools like Power BI, and strong knowledge of SAP HANA.

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Calgary or be willing to relocate. Travel may be required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience in the field may substitute each year of education.
• At least 4 years of IT experience.
• Authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship; no immigration sponsorship provided.

The candidate should understand what requirements to configure in Power BI and what to push down to SAP S/4HANA backend for data rendering. Strong knowledge and experience with SAP solutions, especially in finance (SAP account receivables / FI-GL module), are essential.

You will translate business needs into data requirements, bridging the gap between business and advanced analytics configurations in SAP.

Primary Skills (must have):

• Minimum 10 years of experience with Power BI implementations on SAP BW on HANA/Native HANA or Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Power BI features, especially for financials (e.g., year-on-year variance).
• Experience building dashboards over SAP financial data, leveraging features like PowerON.
• Ability to decide when to push business logic to SAP backend for performance.
• Experience with write-back features for planning scenarios.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Row-level security in live connections.
• Good analytical and functional knowledge of SAP finance domain.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable data pipelines using cloud technology.
• Techno-functional expertise in specific business domains; ability to translate requirements into technical documents.
• Understanding of relational databases.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery models.

Additional Skills (preferred):

• Hands-on knowledge of PowerON feature with SAP S/4HANA data.
• Experience with write-back features for planning scenarios.
• Python knowledge.
• Row-level security in live connections.
