Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Principal Cloud Security Architect to assess large-scale cloud environments and deliver actionable guidance that improves security posture. This fully remote contract role focuses on secure architectures, IAM design, and multi-cloud best practices.

You will produce structured reports, validate environments against security frameworks, and support ongoing assessments across diverse cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience in cloud security architecture.
• Ability to translate complex security findings into structured documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP for security gaps and weaknesses.
• Review IAM configurations, permission models, network segmentation, and resource policies in depth.
• Identify misconfigurations, privilege escalation risks, and insecure architectural patterns.
• Produce clear, structured reports documenting architectural flaws and prioritized mitigation guidance.
• Validate cloud environments against recognised security frameworks and industry best practices.
• Support recurring assessments across evolving cloud environments and deployment patterns.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP for security gaps and structural weaknesses

• Strong command of IAM design, network architecture, and cloud service models across major providers
• Ability to translate complex security findings into clear, structured documentation for technical and non-technical audiences
• Methodical and thorough — you don't miss things, and you explain what you find with precision

Nice To Have

• Experience with multi-cloud environments, zero-trust architecture, or high-compliance regulated industries
• Familiarity with frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST CSF, SOC 2, or cloud-native security tools
• Background in security consulting, red team assessments, or enterprise architecture reviews
