The CRM team serves as the primary relationship lead for IMCO’s institutional clients and prospects. The team also leads strategic initiatives supporting client success and experience, acting as the client voice and ambassador within IMCO.

Reporting to the Director, Client Experience, this role is vital in managing relationships, providing superior service, and strengthening long-term partnerships. It involves engaging with management, senior executives, and Board committees, leading or contributing to strategic projects, and collaborating across teams to meet client success objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading client relationships and ensuring high client satisfaction across all IMCO services.
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of IMCO’s investment and operational offerings and staying informed on market trends to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Preparing and leading discussions and presentations on investment topics, performance, and strategies.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to coordinate workplans and create high-quality client materials.
  • Contributing to IMCO’s strategic initiatives by providing client-focused insights.
  • Developing materials for client engagement and updates on strategic initiatives.
  • Conducting research and preparing content to showcase IMCO’s capabilities and updates for clients, including sessions, events, and communications.
  • Working with internal teams to resolve complex client issues.
  • Building trusted advisor relationships with clients and mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications for success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in institutional asset management or related fields.
  • Experience in client-facing roles or investment advisory, with a proven track record of building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating investment topics clearly to sophisticated clients and senior audiences.
  • Strong understanding of investment issues, trends, and products, including risk and performance concepts.
  • Designations such as CFA, FRM, CIPM, CAIA are assets.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel; experience with project management tools is a plus.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and work collaboratively in a multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with adaptability to changing priorities.
