Product Managers are tech-savvy pioneers, with one eye on what's new and the other on what's next. Product Managers are dedicated problem-solvers who leverage big data, agile principles, and human insights to re-imagine the way people interact with money - creating experiences that simplify and enhance our customers' lives.   • Build data pipelines that enable smarter, faster marketing decisions across paid search and display channels
  • Develop marketing measurement solutions that deliver performance insights while upholding data governance standards
  • Give customers the confidence to apply without rejection with Quick Check, our credit card eligibility tool
  • Enhance the credit card application experience to encourage early adoption of digital habits
  • Create easy digital solutions that help customers address fraud and easily get back to using their card
  • Provide customers with relevant details about their account, conveniently within the mobile app

Responsibilities

As a Product Manager for Marketing Technology & Performance, you'll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in four key areas :

Human Centered

  • You'll lead discovery efforts to understand the needs of both customers and marketing teams, using these insights to drive the long term vision for your product
  • You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop actionable strategies that optimize marketing workflows, rallying stakeholders around technology solutions that enhance marketing effectiveness

Business Focused

  • You'll own and prioritize the marketing technology roadmap to deliver on business outcomes, working closely with a cross-functional team to ensure all the right resources are aligned to help increase the value driven from our multi-million dollar marketing budget
  • You'll define KPIs for your product and will be responsible for measuring and tracking to those measures, with an eye to adjusting and refining your roadmap as the data dictates
  • You'll have an end-to-end understanding of major marketing platforms and how they integrate with our systems
  • You'll work closely with technology leadership and architecture to understand the tradeoffs of technical decisions and how they impact the product your team will deliver, always looking to ensure that you're using the best tool for the job

Transformational Leadership

  • You'll rally teams and senior stakeholders to your marketing technology vision and leverage your relationships with product, tech, data, and marketing teams to drive results
  • You'll partner day-to-day with cross-functional leaders to develop an effective marketing technology roadmap that positions Capital One for long-term marketing success

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of Product Management experience with software products
  • Experience working with digital marketing platforms and programmatic advertising across Paid Search and / or Display channels (e.g. SA360, DV360, Meta Ads)
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills; able to make data-driven decisions and provide recommendations to drive action

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in financial services, technology or operations
  • Experience with marketing data analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Experience building or managing data pipelines to Meta's CAPI and / or Google Ads / CM360
  • Familiarity with database structures and with troubleshooting data pipelines
  • Understanding of concepts in the ad measurement space (e.g. conversion attribution)
