Job description

We are seeking a highly capable and entrepreneurial Principal to join our investment team, with a primary focus on Artificial Intelligence and frontier technology investments. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation who is passionate about identifying and partnering with category-defining AI companies at early and growth stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, evaluation, and execution of investments in AI and related deep tech sectors
• Conduct deep technical and product-level due diligence, working closely with founders and engineering teams
• Develop investment theses across AI infrastructure, applied AI, and frontier models
• Support portfolio companies through strategic, technical, and operational guidance
• Represent the firm in the AI ecosystem, including conferences, founders, and co‑investors
• Collaborate closely with partners on deal execution and fund strategy

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience at a leading venture capital firm, growth equity fund, or similar investment organization
• Strong technical background in AI/ML, computer science, data science, or related engineering disciplines
• Hands‑on experience working in or closely with AI-related companies (e.g., AI infrastructure, applied AI, or deep learning products)
• Strong understanding of AI ecosystem trends, including foundation models, inference infrastructure, and enterprise AI applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical founders and investment professionals
• Proven track record of involvement in sourcing, evaluating, or leading venture investments
• High intellectual curiosity, strong ownership mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
