Job summary

Qualifications

• Alberta teaching certification and TQS certificate.
• Bachelor of Education (BEd.) degree.
• Experience teaching in rural and/or Indigenous communities.

Responsibilities

• Follow prescribed program of studies for each subject.
• Plan and deliver daily lessons with short/medium/long range planning.
• Provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Champion Cree language/culture revitalization in curriculum infusion.
• Support school-parent-community engagement.
• Collaborate with staff through collaborative-decision making.
• Promote differentiated instruction for diverse learning needs.
