  • Comply with company policies on conduct, uniform, and appearance.
  • Attend daily start-of-shift meetings and other required safety meetings.
  • Participate in fire and rescue training, drills, and ongoing continuing medical education.
  • Prepare and assist with medical training for the fire and rescue team.
  • Mentor new hires during onboarding and help them complete induction requirements.
  • Inspect, maintain, and clean fire, rescue, and EMS apparatus, equipment, and facilities to ensure readiness.
  • Stay current on site-specific fire and rescue guidelines, medical protocols, rescue plans, and pre-incident plans.
  • Complete required fire and rescue training courses and International SOS continuing education modules.
  • Perform drug and alcohol collector training and testing for workers on site.
  • Assist clinic staff during high patient intake periods to support individual care needs.
  • Handle administrative duties as requested by fire officers or the nurse practitioner.
  • Represent International SOS professionally when interacting with clients and contractors.
  • Maintain standards of practice consistent with your governing regulatory body and operate within your license scope.
  • Execute tasks assigned by the officer-in-charge in accordance with emergency operations policies and guidelines.
  • Identify hazards at emergency scenes and report them promptly to the incident commander.
