A healthcare service provider is seeking a Primary Care Paramedic to provide urgent medical services across Canada. Candidates should have a Paramedic Program diploma and at least three years of experience in an acute care environment. This role involves emergency response, patient assessment, and teamwork in a dynamic setting. A valid Class 4 Driver’s License and CPR certification are required. Salary ranges from $22 to $42 per hour, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.

The work of a Primary Care Paramedic involves operating an ambulance in responding to emergencies and routine calls and providing skilled basic and advanced emergency care to persons suffering from a variety of illnesses and injuries. The Primary Care Paramedic is required to assess, stabilize, and report on the nature and severity of the illness or injury. Work is performed with considerable independence and is reviewed through observation, examination of records/reports and the presence or absence of valid complaints.
