Job summary

Advanced Medical Solutions seeks a Primary Care Paramedic to join our Ground Ambulance Service in Inuvik, NT. This is a 3–6-month relocation contract with potential extensions for growth in paramedicine.

You’ll work with EMRs to deliver exceptional patient care during transport, maintain equipment, and participate in ongoing education and career development in Northern Canada.

Qualifications

• PCP Primary Care Paramedic certification.
• HCP CPR Provider or BLS certification.
• WHMIS training and certification.
• Class 4 Driver’s License – required.
• Vulnerable Sector Check within 90 days.
• Current Medical & Immunization Records.
• Emergency Vehicle Operator certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care during ground transport.
• Assess injuries or illness to determine required emergency treatment.
• Ensure safe ambulance operations and transport to Inuvik Regional Hospital.
• Document injuries and treatments provided.
• Maintain and resupply medical equipment and vehicles.

Advanced Medical Solutions has an opportunity for a Primary Care Paramedic to join our Ground Ambulance Service in Inuvik, NT.

What You Bring:

Your Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a team (with EMRs) to provide the highest and most effective patient care possible during all phases of the ground transport process and practices
• Assess the extent of injuries or illness of patients to determine emergency medical treatment required
• Responsible for the safe ambulance operations and transport of patients from remote areas to the Inuvik Regional Hospital
• Document and record nature of injuries and treatment provided
• Cleaning and maintenance of medical equipment, ambulance, base, and resupply of consumable equipment
