Job summary

Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a full-time RN Primary Care (PCN) in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC to provide service in a primary healthcare setting. A $1000 Signing Bonus is offered.

RNs will perform patient assessment, screening, education and chronic disease management as part of a multidisciplinary team, handling walk-in and scheduled appointments for acute or chronic health needs. Work hours are daytime, Monday to Friday, with no evening or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• One year full-time equivalent experience in family practice, ambulatory care environment or health care setting.
• Registered Nurse license from the provincial/territorial college or association in the province of practice.
• Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or CPR/AED Level C

Responsibilities

• Provide primary health care services to members, including patient assessment, screening, lifestyle support, education and chronic disease management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team to develop and implement care plans and provide patient follow-up.
• Manage walk-in and scheduled appointments for acute or chronic physical, mental, and occupational health needs.

They function as a member of a multi-disciplinary health care team to develop and implement care plans and provide patient follow-up. Their work includes walk-in and scheduled appointments with acute or chronic physical, mental, and occupational health needs.

Qualifications

Successful candidates must possess aminimum of one (1) year of full-time equivalent experiencein family practice, ambulatory care environmentorin a health care setting.

Candidates must also possess:

• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a recognized university
• Registered Nurse license from the provincial or territorial professional college or association in the province of practice
• Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or CPR/AED Level C

Additional Requirements:

• Current N95 mask fit certificate CSA Standards Z94.4 (every2 yrs)
• Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) Certification (every two years)
