Are you a registered Pharmacist looking to showcase your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Pharmacy department.
In accordance with the mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and reporting to the Pharmacy Operations Lead, Primary and Long-Term Care, this position provides clinical pharmacy services to patients within the primary care network. As a member of an interprofessional team, this role works directly with patients to identify and resolve actual and potential drug therapy problems through comprehensive medication management.
This role includes rotations at Terrace, Nisga'a, Stewart, and Tahltan/Stikine, with work days subject to operational needs.
Shift Rotation/Hours of Work: Days, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00
Ksyen Regional Hospital
The new Ksyen Regional Hospital welcomed its first patients on November 24, 2024. It is more than twice the size of the previous hospital, featuring 82 beds, private rooms, and serving as a center for trauma services, orthopedic surgeries, pathology, radiology, clinical support, and pharmacy services. It is also a training site for medical students in the Northern Medical Program.
Terrace
The vibrant community of Terrace offers northern living at its best, with snow-capped mountains, pristine glacier-fed rivers, lakes, and streams. The main industries include communications, transportation, and natural resources. The population is approximately 12,700, with nine elementary schools, four secondary schools, Northwest Community College, and a UNBC campus.
