Your Team

Reporting to the Director, Revenue Management & Sales, the Pricing and Revenue Management Analyst plays a critical role in maximizing revenue through strategic pricing, inventory optimization, and data-driven forecasting across our route network. This position combines analytical expertise with commercial insight to achieve revenue targets by optimizing fares and load factors. The Analyst will leverage advanced analytics to understand demand patterns, consumer behaviour, and competitive dynamics, transforming these insights into actionable strategies that drive Flair Airlines\' commercial success and support strategic decision-making across the organization.

This position is based on-site at our Vancouver (YVR) office.

A Day in the Life

The duties of the Pricing and Revenue Management Analyst include:

Responsibilities
  • Revenue Optimization and Strategic Pricing: Maximize revenue generation by strategically optimizing pricing and inventory across a diverse portfolio of routes, ensuring optimal load factors and effective booking curve management.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine advanced data-driven revenue management tools, models, and methodologies to enhance decision-making capabilities and drive commercial performance.
  • Forecasting and Analytics: Produce accurate and timely revenue forecasts at route levels, providing critical insights that support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and demand modelling to inform commercial strategies and guide revenue-related initiatives.
  • Champion a data science-driven approach to all aspects of revenue management, ensuring analytical rigour, continuous improvement, and innovation.
  • Competitive Intelligence & Market Strategy: Monitor and analyze competitor pricing strategies, capacity decisions, and market activity, translating insights into proactive competitive responses and tactical pricing adjustments.
  • Support the evaluation of new route opportunities and schedule optimization by providing detailed revenue projections and demand forecasts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with network planning, ancillary, and marketing teams to align pricing strategies with overall commercial objectives and company goals.
  • Present complex analytical findings and strategic recommendations clearly to stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support department objectives.
What You Bring to the Role

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, finance, data analytics, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of two to four (2-4) years of experience in pricing, revenue management, financial analysis, or a related analytical role. Experience in the aviation, airline, or travel industry is a significant asset. Demonstrated experience working with large datasets, forecasting models, and analytical tools. Previous exposure to competitive market analysis and pricing strategy development is preferred. Experience using revenue management systems, business intelligence platforms, or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL).
  • Skills & Abilities: Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of company policies and standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SQL, Python, or other analytical tools is an asset. Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate forecasts and reports under tight deadlines. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at various levels. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Requirements: Clear criminal record check and satisfactory employment references. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction.
