A leading company in reinsurance is seeking a Pricing Manager to oversee actuarial pricing for large block transactions in North America. The ideal candidate will focus on risk assessment and pricing methodologies for various life insurance products while managing pricing projects and supporting internal risk functions. Strong analytical and communication skills are crucial, along with expertise in actuarial principles.
Working with the AVP Pricing, North America, this role will be responsible for actuarial pricing for retrocession pools and large block reinsurance transactions written by the Protection Line of Business in North America.
The role will focus on pricing and risk assessment for large block deals within the U.S. market, specifically for Term, Whole Life (WL), and Universal Life (UL) products, while also considering Long-Term Care (LTC) as a potential future opportunity. This includes evaluating and structuring transactions, conducting experience analysis, and developing assumptions for mortality, morbidity, and lapse risks.
The Pricing Manager will also assist the AVP in managing ongoing pricing projects and initiatives, including maintaining pricing models, developing innovative methodologies, and supporting internal risk management functions. Other responsibilities may include supporting global pricing teams and contributing to the continuous improvement of pricing processes and frameworks.
