Job description

The Pricing Analyst provides analytical support to a specific functional area, department, or division. This role focuses on proactive pricing analysis to identify opportunities for improving margins and increasing revenue. The Pricing Analyst will lead pricing-related projects, develop ad hoc operational or financial performance reports, and proactively recommend solutions to business issues.

What You'll Do :

1. Financial Modeling : Develop financial models and review / analyze financial statements and reports.
2. Pricing Analysis : Perform pricing analysis to uncover opportunities for margin improvement and revenue enhancement.
3. Project Leadership : Lead pricing-related projects and profitability improvement initiatives, presenting findings and facilitating discussions with cross-functional teams and management.
4. Pricing Programs : Develop pricing programs and provide comprehensive reporting, tracking, and impact analysis.
5. Scheduled Reviews : Conduct regular pricing reviews of key profit metrics with the product marketing and sales teams to identify variances from margin and profit goals, implementing necessary actions.
6. ERP Management : Manage and maintain the pricing structure in the company’s ERP system, proactively identifying discrepancies or errors.
7. Implementation and Validation : Implement and validate approved pricing actions, conducting post-action reviews and reporting.
8. Support and Training : Troubleshoot pricing-related inquiries and provide training as needed to support the sales and product marketing teams.
9. Process Improvement : Participate in pricing-related process improvement or system enhancement projects.
10. Cross-Functional Support : Provide backup and coverage for other functional areas within the pricing and finance teams as necessary.

What We're Looking For :

1. 3+ years of related experience in Pricing or Finance.
2. Superb analytical skills with strong technical proficiency (e.g., SQL, MS Access, VBA).
3. Ability to seek out objectives and complete them with minimal management input.
4. Capable of initiating and leading projects while working under pressure and tight deadlines.
5. Strong problem-solving skills with excellent multitasking, time management, and prioritization abilities.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

This role is hybrid, requiring 2 days in the office and 3 days remote, subject to change.
