About the Role :

This role is part of a team focused on Retail Investments, specifically managing product and pricing strategies for Term Investments (GICs). It’s ideal for someone who enjoys independent work while contributing to a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the pricing / product exception request inbox.
• Evaluate and approve rate or price negotiation requests.
• Handle product management tasks such as early redemption penalties, backdating, cancellations, and amendments.
• Calculate interest implications and provide approvals for exceptions.
• Support daily / monthly reporting and provide data-driven insights.
• Analyze competitor pricing, market share, and customer engagement.
• Collaborate on strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of experience in pricing analysis or similar analytical roles.
• Beginner to intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and grey areas.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Financial services industry experience.
• Genuine interest in investments and financial products.

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

Possibility of Extension: Yes

Possibility of Conversion to Full-Time: Yes

Working Hours: Preferred 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST (9–5 also available)
