Job summary

UAP is seeking a Pricing Analyst to bridge product management and price management, collaborating with market managers to analyze costs and margins and to maintain accurate pricing data.

The role requires strong Excel/database skills, and fluency in both French and English to interact with internal clients across Canada. You will prepare cost analyses, pricing descriptions for new products, and monitor promotions while ensuring pricing integrity.

Responsibilities

• Initiate effective collaboration with market managers.
• Prepare and analyze changes in costs and margins.
• Present the reality of the resale structure in worksheets.
• Detect and report margin and cost problems.
• Monitor and maintain the accuracy of pricing data.
• Create descriptions of new products in the right product category; Specifications for entry into the computer system.
• Analyse price update processing times to identify bottlenecks with Supplier, Product Manager, MIS, Purchasing Clerk; propose solutions.
• Analyse weekly “discrepancy” reports to determine the source of problems and make the necessary corrections.
• Analyse monthly prices of national promotions to ensure no conflict with regional pricing structures and propose new prices.
