Job summary

Stellar Creative Lab in British Columbia, Canada, is expanding its team for a premium Marvel Animation project. We’re seeking Previs/Layout Artists at junior, mid, and senior levels to join our collaborative, hybrid studio.

As a cinematography-focused role, you will transform storyboards into compelling 3D setups, block characters, lens shots, and animate camera movements, working closely with editors and the animation team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Previs, Layout, or Camera (Junior 1-2+ yrs; Mid 3-5+; Senior 5+).
• Solid grasp of cinematography, framing, and camera movement.
• Working experience within a Maya pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Bring the script and storyboards to life in the 3D world, achieving the Director and Layout Supervisor's vision.
• Block character animation for timing and staging; animate camera movements and finalize camera work.
• Collaborate with editorial and animation teams to ensure sequences flow as intended and iterate on revisions.
