Job summary

A technology solutions provider based in Alberta is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician. This role involves monitoring tool performance, performing maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting equipment issues. Candidates should possess an ITE/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering/Electronics and have 0-3 years of experience in preventive/corrective maintenance. The technician will work to improve equipment performance while documenting all activities in established check sheets.

Qualifications

  • 0-3 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Ability to interpret circuit and gas pipe diagrams.
  • Prior experience in mechanical and electrical preventive/corrective maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor tool performance and conduct preventive/corrective maintenance.
  • Participate in total productive maintenance (TPM) activities.
  • Document all maintenance activities and review procedures.
  • Address SPC issues daily and report to Lead Tech/Engineer.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor tool performance, schedule and perform preventative/corrective maintenance on assigned tool sets.
  • Participate in carrying TPM activity to uphold and improvement the equipment performance and utilization.
  • Use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues.
  • Increase tool uptime through systematic problem solving and troubleshooting, quality workmanship.
  • Document all maintenance performed in established check sheets and tracking programs, and routine review of maintenance check sheets and procedures.
  • Monitor, analyse and address SPC issues for area processes on a daily basis and respond to SPC out of control issues.
  • Shift Technicians are required to keep the Lead Tech and/or Lead Engineer updated on tool and area issues.
Qualifications
  • ITE/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering/Electronics.
  • 0-3 years of experience is preferred.
  • Understanding and interpretation of circuit/gas pipe diagrams.
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical Preventive/Corrective Maintenance.
